Universal Orlando Resort has updated attraction closures through the beginning of 2025, including the Hogwarts Express. The Hogwarts Express is a train, themed to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, that transports guests between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Without the express running, guests must walk through CityWalk to move between parks. The Hogwarts Express is set to close on January 28th and reopen on February 1st of 2025.

The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle is also on the Temporary Attraction Closures list for Islands of Adventure. There is currently no reopening date available for this display. That said, Hogwarts Always is listed to return next year.

In the meantime, Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will begin on November 22nd and run through December 31st. Hogwarts Castle will join in the festivities through a holiday-themed display from dusk until park closure with The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle.
