     It\u2019s Back to Hogwarts day, and that means new Harry Potter announcements! The official Harry Potter YouTube channel just wrapped up its 2025 stream, boarding the Hogwarts Express. Did you catch the train this morning? Don\u2019t worry, we’ve got you covered. Just meet us at the blue Ford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shows<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

     More casting has been announced for HBO\u2019s Harry Potter series, premiering in 2027. New casting includes young actors Elijah Oshin, Finn Stephens, and William Nash. Oshin joins as Gryffindor Quidditch player, Dean Thomas. Slytherin adds two new members, with Stevens playing Vincent Crabbe and Nash as Gregory Goyle. Brid Brennan, Richard Durden, Sirine Saba, and Leigh Gill will play Madam Poppy Pomfrey, Professor Cuthbert Binns, Professor Pomona Sprout, and Griphook, respectively. Rejoining the Harry Potter crew is the one and only Warwick Davis as Professor Filius Flitwick!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Harry Potter Series Casting<\/sub><\/p>\n\n\n\n

     Mischief Managed? Join James and Oliver Phelps for season two of Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking. More sweets, more displays, and more magic will be hitting your screens this holiday season. No specific release date was announced. Like season one, the series will air on both the Food Network and HBO Max.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking Season 2<\/sub><\/p>\n\n\n\n

     A brand-new Harry Potter Podcast will release next year. No details were released with the announcement, only that it will celebrate the 25th<\/sup> anniversary of the movie series by revisiting the films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 As we previously covered<\/a>, Tom Felton is returning to the Wizarding World this year on Broadway. Felton is reprising his role as Draco Malfoy for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Tom Felton\u2019s tour will run from November 11th<\/sup> through May 10th<\/sup>, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Books<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Take a look at Audible\u2019s Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Edition, releasing on November 4th<\/sup>. The new audiobooks will have a staggered release schedule, with a new book coming out each month, starting with November\u2019s Sorcerer\u2019s Stone and ending with the Deathly Hallows on May 12th<\/sup>. New cast members include Mark Addy as Rubeus Hagrid, Daniel Mays as Dobby, and Alex Hassell as Lucius Malfoy. The Patil sisters, Parvati and Padma, will be voiced by Avni and Sara Deshmukh, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first three books in the Pocket Potters series will officially be released tomorrow, September 2nd<\/sup>, including books for Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. Early next year will see the release of Dumbledore and Luna\u2019s Pocket Potters books, and later in the year, the newly announced Hagrid and Dobby Pocket Potters will be published. Yes, during the Back to Hogwarts celebration, two more Pocket Potters were announced to arrive in August of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
