     Universal Orlando Resort has announced details of their Mardi Gras celebration next month! The Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnival is a two-month event beginning on February 1st<\/sup> through March 30th<\/sup>. This event is not a separately ticketed event and is included in your prepurchase tickets. When visiting during this event you will experience exclusive food options, concerts, and parade floats!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     Based on the Event Map available on the Universal Orlando website<\/a>, we have the list of all 13 food and drink locations throughout the park: Bites of the Bayou, Canada, China, Coca-Cola\u00ae Market Square, Colombia, France, French Quarter Sips, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Taste of the Quarter. About half of these locations will be found in the New York division of the park, with the remainder split between San Franciso and Hollywood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Universal Mardi Gras Event Map <\/sub> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

     Universal has also announced the concert performances<\/a> that will take place during the event. Of the 12 performances listed, 9 are scheduled for Saturdays, one for each Saturday of the event. Additional performances by Juanes, Lawrence, and Coco Jones will occur on February 16th<\/sup>, March 16th<\/sup>, and March 21st<\/sup>, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

     It wouldn\u2019t be a celebration without a parade; it would be better if you could ride one. Oh wait, you can! Universal Orlando Resort allows guests to come aboard their floats during the parade. To do this, you can reserve a spot via the Virtual Line experience or get a guaranteed place when purchasing the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience. The Virtual Line experience is available in the Universal Orlando App. The Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience <\/a>starts at $89.99 and, in addition to a spot on one of the floats, includes a 3-course meal from one of the 8 participating restaurants throughout the resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
