The series is slated to begin production this summer, with an expected release in 2026 or 2027. This comes after confirmations of John Lithgow\u2019s and Paapa Essiedu\u2019s casting as Professor Dumbledore and Professor Snape. Janet McTeer is reportedly in negotiations for the role of Professor McGonagall as well.
