     Due to the unfortunate passing of a guest on the Stardust Racers attraction at Universal Epic Universe on September 17^th, the ride has remained closed for further investigation. The guest has been identified as Kevin Rodriguez Zavala and was reported to have passed due to multiple blunt impact injuries. Universal has confirmed that the ride operated properly during the guests’ experience. President and Chief Operating Officer Karen Irwin has issued a statement confirming the reopening date for the dual-launch coaster. Stardust Racers is scheduled to reopen on October 4^th with updated procedures and signage.
