Universal appears to be taking a page from Disney, as today Universal updated its special offers to test a new kind of Express Pass: Universal Express Single Attraction Access. This limited-time offer was available only today for Skull Island: Reign of Kong and Revenge of the Mummy. Each ride pass costs $24.99 per person. This style of fast pass is akin to Disney’s Lightning Lane Passes, where guests pay to skip the line per pass.

Disney offers three tiers of Lightning Lane Passes: Single, Multi, and Premier. Multi-Passes let guests skip the line at three attractions on the experience list. Single Passes can be bought up to twice a day for any attraction. Premier Passes grant guests access to bypass the standard queue once at each attraction. Disney’s Lightning Lane Premier Passes are most similar to Universal Express Pass, permitting one skip-the-line per attraction.
