Writer and creator of “Harry Potter,” J.K. Rowling, has made her first visit to the new “Harry Potter” series. According to Deadline, Rowling made a grand appearance this past Wednesday on the UK set and has “worked closely” with the series writers. This comes after a post on X by Rowling stating that she had read the first two episodes of the HBO series, describing them as “SO, SO, SO GOOD!”

Deadline also confirmed this week that writing has officially started for season 2 of the 2027 HBO “Harry Potter” series! HBO’s CEO, Casey Bloys, announced this milestone on Thursday and explained the back-to-back filming schedule. The goal is to avoid gaps between seasons. Hopefully, this means seasons will be released yearly, and it will prevent another “Stranger Things” situation.
