         After nearly 6 years, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure has finally been added to the Universal Express Pass. Excluding the brand-new Ministry of Magic, Hagrid’s has been the latest addition to the Wizarding World and averages approximately a 90-minute wait, according to Thrill Data. The attraction had replaced Dragon Challenge, a dueling roller coaster previously representing the Chinese Fireball and Hungarian Horntail, seen in the Goblet of Fire. Dragon Challenge was the second iteration of a dueling coaster, an updated version of the Dueling Dragons attraction. Stardust Racers opening at Universal Epic Universe is essentially the third iteration of this style of coaster by Universal, and Hagrid’s Motorbike is the third attraction to be located on this specific plot of land.

    Only Pteranodon Flyers is left off the Express Pass list at Universal Islands of Adventure, excluding walk-through attractions. However, multiple rides are not included on the Express Pass list at Epic Universe. Dragon Racer’s Rally, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, and Mine-cart Madness are not available via Express, but all other rides are.

         Over at Universal Studios Florida, the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit has an official closure date. Rip Ride Rockit’s hours have been updated to state its permanent closure date of August 18^th. This date is approximately 1 month earlier than what was previously stated by Universal Orlando Resort’s Vice President of Public Relations back in December. The Universal Orlando Shop is currently selling Farewell T-shirts to commemorate Rip Ride Rockit’s closure.
