     A belated Happy Birthday to Mr. Harry Potter!

     Shop Universal Orlando has added new magical merchandise that even mere Muggles will love. Their latest offerings include apparel, plushies, pins, toys, and 18 wands! Grab some pumpkin pasties because this will be a long one.

     Ten of the wands come from the new Cosme Acajor collection of “Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique” at Epic Universe. The purchase of a wand includes the wand itself, the box, and a location map. Wands will work at all “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” locations at Universal Orlando. Each interactive wand costs $65.00.

     Seven second-generation interactive wands have been added to the online store. These wands feature new functionalities, which you can read about in our article on the topic. Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Professor Dumbledore’s wands are now available, along with a first-generation wand for Dolores Umbridge. The second-generation wands are priced at $85.00, while Umbridge’s wand costs $65.00, the same as the Cosme Acajor wands. For $40.00, you can display your new wand on a new gold British Ministry of Magic wand stand.

     New plushies include a Demiguise, Fwooper, Mooncalf, Occamy, and Thunderbird. The Fwooper, Occamy, and Thunderbird plushies each cost $30.00, while the Demiguise and Mooncalf plushies are $35.00. Additionally, the Bendable Bowtruckle Toy measures 7.5” and costs $18.00. The interactive Niffler toy is notably more expensive at $69.00, standing 9” tall and being sound-activated.

     The Magical Creatures from the Fantastic Beasts series make several more appearances on the new arrivals list. Three pin sets, two journals, one backpack, and one T-shirt feature characters from the Fantastic Beast trilogy. The Movable Pins each showcase two magical creatures and cost $16.00. The T-shirt features a Niffler and costs $30.00. Pick between two new journals: a Niffler Plush Journal or a Magical Creatures Journal Keepsake Box Set. The Niffler Journal is $32.00 and is 8.5” by 6”, while the Magical Creatures Journal costs $40.00 and includes four 128-page journals. The new backpack is themed to Newt Scamander, is 16” by 12”, and costs $90.00, making it the most expensive new Wizarding World merchandise addition.

     Multiple themed “collections” have also been added, including British Ministry of Magic, Métrofloo, Snowy Owl, and Time-Turner themes.

     Nine Snowy Owl merchandise pieces have been updated, including one backpack, one badge, one crossbody, one hat, one jacket, one mug, one pair of socks, and two tops. From least to most expensive, the badge costs $16.00, followed by the socks at $20.00, and the mug at $21.00. The T-shirt jumps to $37.00, followed by the plush hat at $42.00. Higher-priced items include the plush crossbody at $50.00 and the zippered jacket at $60.00. The most expensive Snowy Owl arrivals are the fleece top and mini backpack, both priced at $75.00.

     Time-Turner merch gets an upgrade with 12 items. This includes one cap, one crossbody, one headband, two pieces of jewelry, one journal, one pin set, one tabletop décor piece, three tops, and one waist bag. From cheapest to most expensive, the headband is $20.00, followed by the mystery pin set at $24.00, the journal at $25.00, the earrings at $27.00, and the bracelet at $30.00. The Time-Turner Emblem Adult Cap is priced at $35.00, followed by T-shirts. The Adult Ringer T-shirt costs $40.00, and the Ladies Fashion Tee is $45.00. The waist bag also costs $45.00. Both the crossbody bag and the ladies’ long-sleeve tee are $50.00. The most expensive Time-Turner item is the Time-Turner décor at $60.00.

     For a bonus Time-Turner item, go to the New Arrivals row in the Harry Potter page, not the New Arrivals page. Here you can find the Time-Tuner popcorn bucket, which does not show up in the New Arrivals page, yet is labeled as a New Arrival. The Time-Turner popcorn bucket is 10.5” by 12.5” and has the ability to rotate its rings. It is also eligible for fills at Universal Orlando Food and Beverage locations. The popcorn bucket is available for $28.99.

     The British Ministry of Magic has the most new items, with 16 new arrivals. These arrivals include one backpack, one badge reel, one bottle, one frame, one keychain, one lanyard, one lanyard pouch, one magnet, one mug, five shirts, one waist bag, and one wall banner. Listing from least to most expensive, we start with a $12.00 lanyard pouch, followed by a $13.00 keychain, a $16.00 spinning elevator dial magnet, a $16.00 elevator dial badge reel, and a $16.00 lanyard. Hopping to $25.00 is the Logo Mug, then a stainless-steel travel bottle at $27.00, a $30.00 Lenticular Elevator Dial Youth T-shirt, and a $30.00 Wall Banner. For $35.00 is the sculpted frame, and for $40.00 is the Fountain Ladies adult T-shirt, Flocked adult T-shirt, and waist bag. Jumping to $55.00 is the crew neck youth fleece and $65.00 messenger backpack. The most expensive item is the adult sweatshirt at $70.00.

     The Métro-floo grouping is the smallest set of new items, with only 8 additions. This themed group includes one backpack, one hat, one luggage tag, one mug, two pins, one tumbler, and one wall sign. The most affordable items are the $13.00 Métro-floo pin, the $14.00 Métro-floo Glow-in-the-dark slider pin, and the $15.00 luggage tag. The Métrofloo ceramic wall sign is priced at $25.00, the sculpted mug at $27.00, the stainless-steel tumbler at $29.00, and the bucket hat at $32.00. Tied with Snowy Owl Fleece Top and Snowy Owl Mini Backpack is the Métro-Floo Mini Backpack at $75.00.
