Pottermore Publishing is teaming up with Audible for a new collection of audiobooks releasing this November! This will be an Amazon Audible exclusive and will feature a full-cast reading of the series. The series will drop monthly, with “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” available on November 4th and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” on December 16th. All other audiobooks will be released next year between January and May. Books one through three will cost $29.99, while books four through seven will cost $44.99. The series will also be included with an Audible membership, which costs $14.95 per month.

A partial cast announcement has been made by HarryPotter.com, including Hugh Laurie as Albus Dumbledore! The series will also feature Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, a fitting choice since she has been officially cast in the role for the upcoming HBO series set to premiere in 2027. Additional casting includes Cush Jumbo as the Narrator, Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape, Michelle Gomez as Professor McGonagall, Matthew Macfadyen as Voldemort, and split casting for Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. The trio will be played by Frankie Treadaway, Arabella Stanton, and Max Lester for books one through three, and Jaxon Knopf, Nina Barker-Francis, and Rys Mulligan for books four through seven, respectively.
