Hogwarts Legacy is confirmed to be coming to Nintendo’s newest console, the Nintendo Switch 2. Harrypotter.com has listed several updates made to the game, including improved visuals, resolution, and traversal. Increased flight speed and controller options will be available as well.

Hogwarts Legacy – Nintendo Switch 2 Gameplay
The Standard and Deluxe Editions of the game will be available for $59.99 and $69.99, respectively. Individuals who already own Hogwarts Legacy for the original Nintendo Switch can upgrade their game to the Switch 2 for just $10. Portkey Games Support has confirmed that you must own a copy of Hogwarts Legacy to take advantage of this discount. Then, players must enter the Nintendo eShop where the discount will appear, or launch the game and select Activate Hogwarts Legacy Owner’s Discount on Nintendo Switch 2 located in the Additional Content Select tab.

Hogwarts Legacy Nintendo Switch 2 Discount Steps
While not yet updated, WB Games Support has also confirmed that you can transfer your saved data between Switch devices.
Numerous other Nintendo Switch games will also have upgrade packs for varying prices. Several games, such as Super Mario Odyssey and Pokémon: Scarlet, will have free updates for the Nintendo Switch 2. Other games, such as Hogwarts Legacy, The Legend of Zelda – Breath of the Wild, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land, will have upgrade packs ranging from $9.99 to $19.99.
