     Universal Epic Universe is now open! The highly anticipated park is the newest addition to the Universal Orlando Resort line-up; and includes five lands themed to Celestial Park, Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon-Isle of Berk, Super Nintendo, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Epic Universe Map}

     Epic Universe has opened with 11 rides throughout the park with varying thrill levels and height requirements. Super Nintendo World and Isle of Berk contribute the most rides, with three in each land. Celestial Park and Dark Universe follow closely behind with two new rides each. Leaving the Ministry of Magic with one ride, but undoubtedly the most anticipated.

Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry Wait Time}

     Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry peaked with a 240-minute queue but unfortunately encountered a lengthy delay shortly after opening. Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experience and Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge also experienced minor delays but overall remained open. No other attractions experienced delays.      Although you’re not technically allowed to record on Universal rides, Universal Park News Today did find a way, HERE, for any readers who wish to view the rides before attending.

Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experience}

     Not interested in thrills? Check out Le Cirque Arcanus or the Untrainable Dragon performances at the Ministry of Magic and the Isle of Berk, respectively. Le Cirque Arcanus, is inspired by Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, in which ringmaster Skender steals Newt Scamander’s suitcase of magical creatures to revitalize the circus. The Untrainable Dragon features Hiccup and his friends in their attempt to tame a new dragon who has shown up in Berk.

Le Cirque Arcanus}

     Numerous meet-and-greet locations are found throughout the park. This includes Hiccup and Toothless, Mario and Luigi, Frankenstein’s Monster and his Bride, and more. Fit right into the park with Dark Universe’s Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience. Whether it’s face paint or a full transformation, the Darkmoor Makeup Experience has you covered. It is important to note that while wearing the makeup, the purchasing and consumption of alcohol is prohibited. Some guests may need to re-validate their photo as well.

Atlantic}

     Additionally, 24 unique dining locations opened with the park. This includes 2 full-service and 22 quick-service locations. Both full-service dining locations, Atlantic and the Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant, are in Celestial Park. Reservations are now open for Atlantic and the Blue Dragon Restaurant. 9 of the 22 quick service locations offer Mobile Ordering. This includes Café L’air De La Sirène, Das Stakehaus, Hooligan’s Grog and Gruel, Le Gobelet Noir, Mead Hall, Meteor Astropub, Pizza Moon, the Burning Blade Tavern, and Toadstool Cafe. Mobile Ordering is available in the Universal Orlando App after selecting your food destination.

Starbucks}

     For our caffeine addicts reading. Yes, there are not one, but two Starbucks locations found at Epic Universe. They are located at the park entrance and the Constellation Carousel attraction.

Universal Play: Super Nintendo World}

     Universal Play is now updated to include Universal Epic Universe! Universal Play allows guests to interact with the park like never before. Pair your wand or Power-Up band with your account to create your Wizard Profile and collect coins. For more information, click HERE!
